Knowledge Transfer PartnershipsA Knowledge Transfer Partnership can help a business to develop and grow by accessing the wealth of knowledge and expertise in the UK's universities, colleges and research organisations. All approved Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are part-funded by the Government and can enable your business to work with a university, college or research organisation that has expertise relevant to your business and can help you increase profitability. What is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership? There is expertise in the UK's universities, colleges and research organisations that could be of value to your business in developing new products, services and processes. Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are designed to help you access this expertise and bring it into your business by working in partnership with academics or researchers. How does it work? With the help of a specialist Knowledge Transfer Partnership Consultant, you will identify a university, college or research organisation that has the right expertise for your business. Together you will then define and agree a project that will enable you to draw on their expertise and apply it to your business. The agreed project could be for any length of time between one and three years. |
