Possibly every time you as an owner consider the issue of succession planning the complexity of the issues involved leads you to rapidly shelve those thoughts!
Part of our role (and own vision) as a university department is to ensure we provide information to family business owners. Through consultation with them we identified the need for owners to have quick and simple access to a facility (without cost) which would identify an individual company’s readiness to address succession planning.
As a result, our staff produced a questionnaire that provides you with a quick assessment on your current state of readiness to address some of the complex issues involved.
