Yell Family Business Awards

Yell, publisher of Yellow Pages directories, is on the hunt for the Best Family Business in Scotland that local people feel deserves recognition.  So whether it’s a father and daughter team, a brother and sister duo, a husband and wife partnership or another familial double act, Yell wants nominations now.

The Yell Best Family Business Awards 2005 celebrate the valuable contribution family businesses make to the UK’s local communities and economy. With a database of more than 2 million UK businesses, Yell is committed to supporting family business owners by showcasing and celebrating their successes.  So owners of family businesses, as well as customers, suppliers or employees of a family-run company, are being invited by Yell to submit their nominations by 9th December.

Five family businesses in Scotland will be chosen to go forward to the national final in running for the national title and a prize package worth over £13,000!  The national prize package includes £3,000 cash, £3,000 worth of advertising with the Yell portfolio of Yellow Pages, Yell.com and Yellow Pages 118 24 7, a celebratory poster designed by a top London ad agency and a year’s supply of tea and biscuits, courtesy of McVitie’s.  The person who nominates the winning business will win a £250 cash prize.
